Charlene Dunn, 68, of Rockford, died at 2:00 a.m. Wednesday January 13, 2010 at Swedish American Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on February 21, 1941 to Charles and Leota (Clankie) Higgins. Married Harold Dunn in Rockford on August 8, 1958.

Survivors include her son, Terry (Kris) Dunn of Rockford; Daughter, Brenda (Michael) Anderson of Rockton; Daughter, Dori (Brad) Shelton of Rockford; Son, Dean Dunn of Rockford. Grandchildren- Rachele, Christopher, Ryan, Michael, Shawn, Corey, Courtney, Emily, Adam, Andy and Marisa. 7 great-grandchildren. Sisters; Juanita, Joanne, Eleanor, Yvonne, Vernica and Judy. Brothers; Joe, Charles and Dale. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, parents, sisters-Leota Mea, Patricia, Gail and Cheryl. 

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday January 16, 2010 at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home 304 N. 5th St. Rockford, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
