● Materials in the Open stacks (2nd floor)

• You could read freely the books placed in the Reading room and Periodical's room.
• When you would like to take out books temporarily to read in other place than the Reading room or to copy, please follow the prescribed procedure at the Main counter (2nd floor).
• The books taken out temporarily must be returned at the Main counter by the day’s closing time.　One could take out temporarily up to 5 books at once.
  　　　

● Materials in the Closed stacks (1st floor & 3rd floor)

• Basically only professors, officers, graduate students of OUC and Special users could enter the 1st floor (Closed stacks) and the 3rd floor (Legislative materials and Statistical materials room, and other rooms).
• Other users who would like to use the materials in those rooms should check the necessary materials on OUC OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), fill in the Order form of the Library and apply at the Main counter.

• The order for the materials in the Crosed stacks (1F) and the Legislative materials and Statistical materials room (3F) is accepted during the hours below.
  　　Weekday ：  8:45 ～ 21:45 （Period of vacation ：  8：45 ～17：00）
  　　Saturday ： 10:00 ～ 19:15 （Period of vacation ： 10：00 ～16：45）
  　　Sunday and National holidays ： 10：00 ～ 16：45
  　　OUC Foundation day (July 7th）： 10：00 ～ 19：15　(Sunday： 10：00 ～16：45）
  
  ・ To read the micro-forms (film and fiche) in the Legislative materials and Statistical materials room on 3rd floor, please refer to “How to use the micro-forms”
  ・ Open hours might be changed. Please check the Library calendar before visiting.
  　
  

● Materials in the Special collections room

• Entering the Special collections room is not allowed without the presence of a Library's staff.
• If you would like to use the materials placed there, please check the necessary materials on OPAC, fill in the Order form of the Library and apply at the Main counter.
• If you would like to enter the Special collections room, please tell Information Circulation Unit (2F Reference counter) of the Library beforehand.

• The order for the materials in the Special collections room is accepted during the hours below.
  　　Weekday：  8：45 ～ 17：00
  

・ If you would like to read the materials in the Special collections room in late hours of weekday or on Saturday, Sunday and National holiday, please check the necessary materials on OPAC and tell Information Service Unit (Main counter) of the Library by 17:00 in weekday beforehand.
・ Since the materials in the Special collections room include many rare books that are difficult to supply when damaged or lost, we might set a limit on its use or refuse the order depending on the condition of the material.　Please follow the directions of the staff and handle with care.
