| 授業の目的・方法 ／Course Objectives and method |
わかりやすく、楽しく、ためになる満足度の高い授業を心がけ、洋楽 (Music)、洋画(Movie)、メディア（Media）の3Mをオーセンティックな教材として活用し、ビジネス英語のシーンで求められる英語の機能と概念を特定し、英語を聞き取り理解する技能および語彙力の強化を行います。また、グローバルの視点からビジネスシーンをめぐる社会情勢を正確に把握し、ニュースメディアを情報のツールとして活用するスキルの習得を目指します。 | ||

１ 洋楽の歌詞を聞き取り、持ち歌を８曲持つ。 ２ 洋画の台詞を字幕なしで理解するための基礎力を養う。 ３ 英語ニュースサイトでリアルタイムで政界情勢を把握し、情報入手力を高める。 ４ ディクテーションを通じて、英語の音声認識力とメディア語彙力を高める。 ５ 経済ビジネスに関する英字新聞記事を通じて英語の読解力と語彙力を高める。 ６ ニュースメディアの理解に必要な実用・実務的最新語彙を学ぶ。 ７ メディア英語学習を通じてビジネスに必要なメディアリテラシーを高める。 ８ ディスカッションとディベートを適時行う。 ９ 特定の話題に対してショート・プレゼンテーションを行う。 |

| 履修上の注意事項 ／Remarks |
履修上の注意事項 ビジネス英語IIとほぼ同一の内容です。授業はビジネス界での根本的常識に合わせて、時間通りに開始し時間通りに誤差３０秒以内で完結します。授業は札幌サテライトで対面のみ（M6だけはオンライン）で行います。履修者の属性（母語、英語レベル等）を考慮して、英語のみ。または英語と日本語を混ぜた授業を展開します。履修者は教材の準備とライングループを作るので授業初日の一週間前までにメールで私に必ず連絡してください。受講にはビジネス英語IIの履修済を条件とします。授業初日に教科書２冊を揃えて出席してください。授業の初日は欠席する人や遅刻や出張等の予定で欠席する可能性のある方は履修を今回はご遠慮ください。 This class is combined with Business English III offered for OBS (Otaru Business School) students, who work at daytime as bbusiness persons and come to OUC Sapporo Satellite at night every other week. This class is conducted entirely in English and no Japanese language knowledge or skills are required to study. You will have fun singing together, waching movies and reading newspaper articles on current topics including overtourism, abusive customers and other intercultural issues. |
