| 授業の目的・方法 ／Course Objectives and method |
This intensive course, including fieldwork, is planned for August 18 to 22. In this class, we will learn about the significance of biodiversity from the viewpoint of economics and discuss conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. | ||

The students are expected to learn about biodiversity, the basis for ecosystem services, and consider conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity. | ||

| 履修上の注意事項 ／Remarks |
• Regular classes will be held during periods 3 to 5. If we go on a field activity, the starting time may be delayed. • Field activities depend on the weather; you will be informed by the day before whether we will go. • Field activities will be conducted on the university campus or surrounding area. We should dress appropriately for outdoor activities as we go for field activities. |
