This Seminar aims to introduce current thinking on multilingualism with English in intercultural and transcultural communication. It explores the dynamic links between named languages, cultural references, and semiotic affordances. | ||

- Active Seminar participation (20%) - Required reading, writing, and presentation (30%) - Graduation thesis (50%) *Specific evaluation criteria and preparation tips, as well as the class policy on the use of generative AI tools, are discussed in class. |

秀 (90 or above): Outstanding performance 優 (80-89): Mastery performance 良 (70-79): Satisfactory performance 可 (60-69): Marginal performance *Regular and punctual attendance is expected of you throughout the semester. *You do not receive an interim grade in your third year, but only a final grade at the end of your final year. |
