授業の目的・方法 /Course Objectives and method |
This course aims to improve students’ English skills through learning about the Japanese language and culture in English. Students who are interested in learning how to explain or teach the Japanese language and cultural concepts to non-native speakers of Japanese may be interested in this course. This course will require students to be interactive and collaborative. Students will read texts explaining common expressions, grammar and abstract cultural concepts that non-native speakers of Japanese may find difficult to understand and explain orally to their classmates. In weeks 5-12, each student will teach the class about a topic of their choice related to Japan. It is hoped to provide opportunities to interact with international students at OUC if they are willing to volunteer. |
