/Course Objectives and method
This is a second-year English course. The focus will be on improving all four skills, but particularly speaking and reading.

The goals for this course include: a. Build self-confidence in students' speaking abilities. b. Help students to express themselves at a professional level in English. c. Instill in them a stronger knowledge of the cultures that use English as their primary language.

A final folder of your homework is 50%.

/Grading Criteria
Students who do well in this class are those who come to class each week prepared and ready to speak, and who speak at every opportunity. They also do the homework assignments on time and with effort, and in English.

This class will be face-to-face, with the possibility of one or two classes that are on demand or by Zoom, depending on the circumstances.
