/Course Objectives and method
This will be a second-year course of general English. It will be an all-skills course but will focus mainly of preparing for and doing academic presentations.

/Grading
You will be graded weekly based upon your contribution to the class, and on the outcome of your presentations. Failure to do the presentations may result in failing the course.

/Grading Criteria
Active participation in the weekly discussions is 50% of your grade. The presentations will account for the other 50%.

The class will be face to face, with the possibility of one or two classes on Zoom when we work on the skill of presenting on Zoom.
