/Course Objectives and method
This course of English is for 2nd year students and above and will focus primarily on the skills of discussion and communication, but to some extent other skills (reading, writing) will also be included.

成績評価の方法
/Grading
You will receive a weekly grade based upon your participation in each class.

And you will receive a grade for your folder of assignments.
成績評価の基準
/Grading Criteria
Student grade will be dependent upon quality of assignments (50%) as well as participation in class discussions (50%). A folder of homework assignments will be due on the last day of class. There will be no final exam in this class.
履修上の注意事項
/Remarks
Students who do well in this class are those who speak in English when requested, and who do so in every class. Students who only speak in Japanese, or those who do not participate, will notice a lower final grade.
