||
達成目標 /Course Goals |
This course uses task-based language learning, where students interact with each other in English in pairs or small groups to get information and solve problems. Weekly activities include: discussions, debates, interviews, role-plays and brainstorming In addition, students work in small project groups during six weeks to create an original country, devising its geography, history, transport infrastructure, industrial and agricultural sectors and cultural heritage. Projects culminate in poster presentations where each group presents its country and explains a week-long package tour. Each week, students prepare for class by writing an essay (200-300 words) which will be checked and graded by the teacher. Students will also prepare for a group project together with their teammates. These practical activities are intended to develop students' communication skills in English, including negotiation, persuasion and presentation skills. |
