授業の目的・方法 /Course Objectives and method |
In this course, students will participate in topic-based conversations in pairs and groups for personalized and learner-centered interaction. There will also be special emphasis on observing how people actually use English and developing “conversation management” strategies. | ||
達成目標 /Course Goals |
(i) practice the vocabulary, grammar, and functions encountered most often in real life. (ii) develop the conversation strategies needed for effective conversations, such as how to ask for a favor politely or how show you understand someone's feelings. (iii) develop speaking fluency through interactive, personalized activities on high-interest topics. (iv) develop confidence in clear and effective self-expression. (v) develop fluency and confidence in writing through weekly journal writing practice. |
