授業の目的・方法
/Course Objectives and method
The Major Objective of this course is to build upon what you learned last semester in English Teaching I to help you prepare for your Practice Teaching. To do this, you will teach a mock kadai and a mock class.*
*By "kadai" I mean a short 10 to 20 minute lesson and by "class" I mean an entire class for forty minutes with ten minutes for a quiz.

/Course Goals
Building upon what you learned, you will be advancing your knowledge and getting some experience teaching actual lessons.
What this class will do is to prepare you for your practice teaching in several ways. One is how to use your most important communication tool to your students besides the text and your voice; the backboard. You will  also study how to make lesson plans (指導案) to make a logical flowing lesson that uses time efficiently.
Using an actual teacher's set for a textbook, you will also plan a short kadai, an entire class, and you will also make a language test for the textbook you select.  There will also be sessions concerning making materials for the Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT) Method that you will be expected to incorporate into both your kadai lesson and your class lesson*. To do this, you will use an exercise in the textbook you choose and modify it to meet the standards of TBLT.
