授業の目的・方法 /Course Objectives and method |
The objectives of this courses are: i) to familialize students with the basics of Generative Grammar ii) to train students for syntactic analysis iii) to introduce major syntactic structures to students |

By the end of this course, students will: i) gain tools to parse English sentences into syntactic trees ii) gain basic knowledge of syntactic theories iii) learn how to analyze English sentences |
授業内容 /Course contents |
Students will be assigned portions of the book and present the summary of each part in turns. The answers to Exercises in the book will be submitted on Manaba and graded by the teacher. |
