This is a second-year English course. The focus will be on improving all four skills, but particularly speaking and reading. | ||

This will be a course of general English. Goals include: a. Build self-confidence in their speaking abilities as applicable to a variety of business settings. b. Express themselves at a professional level in English. c. Build a stronger knowledge of the cultures that use English as a business language. | ||

Students who do well in this class are those who come to class each week prepared and ready to speak, and who speak at every opportunity. They also do the homework assignments on time and with effort. | ||
| 履修上の注意事項 ／Remarks |
I am planning for this class to be face to face (対面授業) for as long as the situation allows it. It we reach level 3, or the weather is really bad, then we will continue our class via Zoom. But, the plan is to do as many face to face classes as possible. If anyone cannot afford to buy the book, please talk to me and I will try to get a copy for you. |
