授業の目的・方法 /Course Objectives and method |
The objective of this course is to improve presentation, reading and writing skills in English, via going through an academic textbook. Students will try to explain the content of each chapter by giving oral presentations, and answer relevant questions from classmates. At the end of the course, students will write a squib or a term paper related to the content of the course and give class presentations on it. | ||

Students will familiarize themselves with the use of an academic textbook written in English, which will prepare them for TOEFL-type reading questions. They will feel more comfortable with giving oral presentations in English. Writing skills will be enhanced too. | ||

Students will take turns in presenting a summary of each chapter.
