授業の目的・方法 /Course Objectives and method |
The objective of this course is to improve the English reading ability and communication skills of students. Students will read in class and discuss questions, vocabulary and issues connected with the reading in pairs or groups. Students are expected to communicate in English during the class. Classes will be real time on Zoom with instructions posted on Manaba. |

成績評価の方法 /Grading |
The midterm and final tests will be open-book tests in which students will need to write answers to questions based on the textbook. Students are expected to use information from the book in their answers and to avoid plagiarism. Students will not be penalised for grammar or spelling mistakes as long as the meaning is clear. Participation will be graded subjectively on how well students participate and communicate in class discussions. | ||
