To build upon basic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and help you acquire greater assurance and competence in the English language. | ||

授業内容 /Course contents |
The course is designed to sharpen your overall competence in the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Weekly classes will include activities such as vocabulary and grammar training, reading and writing exercises, pair work, group work and role-plays, all with a view to building up your basic skills in the English language, and to such an extent that, later on in the course, you will be able to confidently and successfully deliver a short oral presentation before the whole class. | ||
事前学修・事後学修 /Preparation and review class |
Active preparation for each lesson is strongly advised. Preparation will generally involve some sort of reading and written preparation (according to specific instructions given by the teacher). In addition, you should review in your own time the most important material covered in class. | ||

Evaluation will be based on participation (30%), presentations (20%), role-plays and group talks (30%), and other assignments (20%). | ||
