| 授業の目的・方法 ／Course Objectives and method |
In this course students conduct basic exercises in analyzing structures of literary texts as well as deepen their understanding of English literature and cultural backgrounds of English speaking countries. Students are encouraged to improve their English skills by giving presentations and arguing about literary texts in English. | ||

【事前学修】まずは、英語それ自体を説明すべく読み、作家が書き残した英語そのものと向き合うこと。次に、テクスト性を意識しながら、最大限に解釈の可能性を広げようと努めること。 【事後学修】作家固有の英語表現等を意識しながら、さらに新たな発見を期待して読み返してみるとよい。 |

「達成目標」にしたがい、出席率と予習状況を加味しつつ、クラスでの発表と議論および学期末レポートにより、以下の基準で評価します。 秀：90点以上、優：80点以上、良：70点以上、可：60点以上。 |
