授業の目的・方法 /Course Objectives and method |
This course aims to develop students' reading skills and their ability to comprehend and respond to a variety of texts. Numerous texts will be analyzed for content and meaning, and they will also provide a springboard for vocabulary building. In addition, graded readers will be used to expand students’ English reading horizons and summarizing capabilities. | ||

授業内容 /Course contents |
The main activity in the weekly classes will be to read and analyze a range of texts for their content, structure and meaning. In addition to verbal checking of understanding from the instructor, there will be various comprehension exercises, strategies for developing reading skills, vocabulary-building activities, summaries of reading passages, and book reports. | ||

Students should review the contents of each lesson in their own time. This course also requires some reading to be done outside of lesson times. | ||
