This is a second year course in English, focusing on all four skills, along with content. Particular focus will be given to speaking. It is a learner-centered class, meaning participation in the class is very important. | ||

To improve student abilities in reading and listening, speaking and writing. To build content knowledge about health and the environment. To give students some knowledge of western (American mainly) rock music, using the music library in the Gengo Center. | ||

Attendance and participation are both important in this class. If you come to class, but do nothing, your grade will show that. There is also a folder requirement in this class. All of your assignments will be collected at the end of the semester in your folder. If the folder is done poorly, or not submitted, you will fail the class, no matter your attendance. Please take this into consideration. | ||
