This course aims to develop students' reading skills and their ability to comprehend a variety of texts. | ||

To enhance your awareness and appreciation of different types of texts in English; to build up your reading skills; to improve your English vocabulary and grammar; to increase your reading fluency; to heighten your critical thinking; to promote your English reading enjoyment. | ||
| 授業内容 ／Course contents |
Weekly classes will include such activities as reading and analyzing a range of texts for their content, structure and meaning. In addition to verbal checking of understanding from the instructor, there will be various comprehension exercises, strategies for developing reading skills, vocabulary-building activities, summaries of reading passages, and book reports. | ||
