| 授業の目的・方法 ／Course Objectives and method |
This will be a course of second year English. This class will include the four skills of speaking, reading, listening and writing. Each week we will focus on one lesson from the book. Students will be expected to discuss the topics covered in each lesson during class time. | ||

The goals of the course are as follows: a. Build self-confidence in their speaking abilities as applicable to a variety of settings including daily life and business settings. b. | 成績評価の方法 ／Grading |
Participation in the weekly discussions is 50% of your grade. Students will also have opportunities to hear visiting lecturers as part of the English Lecture Series. The class attendance and homework assignments will account for the other 50%. A folder of all homework assignments will be due on the last day of class. There will be a final exam period used in this class. Details will be given in class. | ||
