Prepare for writing a longer academic paper in English. Students will read articles about Japanese culture and write summaries, review articles and, finally, an argumentative essay based on the literature covered. |

Students will read articles on Japanese culture as homework. The articles will serve as a basis for class discussions and for different types of writing.
