| 授業の目的・方法 ／Course Objectives and method |
This course is targeted at those who would like to learn basic macroeconomic theory. No prior knowledge about macroeconomics or economics is required to take this course. Macroeconomics studies the relationship between the aggregate variables such as total output in a nation (GDP) or the general level of prices (inflation). This course will be the first step to learn those concepts in connection with current macroeconomic events. | ||

This course will cover the following topics 1. Introduction and tutorial session 2. Overview of current worldwide macroeconomic events (Chapter 1) 3. Basic notions of macroeconomics (Chapter 2) 4. The goods market (Chapter 3) 5. Financial markets (Chapter 4) 6. Goods and financial markets: the IS-LM model (Chapter 5) 7. The labor market (Chapter 6) 8. Putting all markets together: the AS-AD model (Chapter 7) |
